F.A.Q
Why choose the London Academy of Poledancing?
Here's what some of our students have to say about us.
Pole dancing has changed my life and I know this may sound dramatic and cliché but it has really brought me back from the brink of despair. Alexe and Melissa are great teachers and advocates for pole dancing. They are so welcoming, supportive, helpful and enthusiastic and I will always treasure the gift they have given me. They have given me my life back and although I won’t be doing Pole dancing professionally, I have already started looking at pole dancing courses to do when I get back to Australia. I have even convinced some of my friends to join me.
I’m not a sales women, I’m just a normal girl who writes this from the heart, so for anyone who is thinking of doing Pole dancing I strongly advise you to try it. It has helped me in more ways than one and even if you don’t go on the journey I have you will have so much fun doing it and it is great exercise for you as well. No matter how old you are or what size you are I would recommend LAPD to anyone. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for the taster today or give Alexe and Melissa a call to see if pole dancing is for you.

What do I wear?
All classes take place in a private dance studio at one of our luxury London based gyms, so please wear comfy gym clothes. Do bring along a pair of shorts or hot pants as many of the higher level moves require you to grip with your legs. High heels are a lot of fun but optional.
L.A.P.D has a range of dance wear most of which is specifically designed for Poledancing.
Please do not use any body lotion or moisturiser on the day of your class, as it will cause you to slip & ruin the lesson for anyone else using the same pole. This is very important!
