Are you ready to give pole dancing a go? Come along to one of our Discover Pole Dancing classes and give it a try.
Classes are run several times per week at our Old Street Studio and last one hour.
All classes start with a warm up and end with a cool down to ensure you don’t pull any muscles.
What will I learn?
During each lesson you will learn different moves, tricks and choreography as well as basic pole moves including spins, transitions and floor work. These classes are ideal for anyone interested in Poledancing who can’t currently commit to a 6 week course.
What to wear?
Gym gear - make sure you bring shorts, heels are fun if you wish but not necessary. Please do not use any body lotion or moisturiser on the day of your session, as it will cause you to slip.
Your teacher will also showcase routines featuring all the moves you will learn on a Foundation Level pole course with LDA, and answer any questions you may have.
It is natural to feel nervous before practising a new activity, but relax. All our trainers are friendly, fully qualified fitness professionals, who love pole dancing and teaching. They will pass on their skills to you in a safe and inspiring atmosphere.
Please don’t worry about your level of flexibility, strength or stamina; these are all qualities you will gain from Poledancing!
We do not discriminate at LDA everyone is welcome, yes that includes men too.
Poledancing can burn up to 400 calories an hour & you spend most of the class laughing & smiling.
